Stater Bros. Markets Helps Support Pets at West End Animal Shelter

(Ontario, CA) West End Animal Shelter, established in 1954, is a non-profit, no kill center for pet placement and adoption located in Ontario. On average, West End Animal Shelter finds homes for more than 800 pets each year and serves as a pet placement and adoption center where sociable homeless dogs and cats await placement. These animals are surrendered by owners who can no longer keep them for one reason or another.

Through referrals, internet website, and other outreach programs, they have had great success finding new homes for pets all over Southern California.

Stater Bros. Markets and Pedigree have teamed up in a very unique partnership. Through the purchase of Pedigree Brand food purchased at Stater Bros. Markets, Pedigree donates to local organizations that enhance pet-wellness. Together Stater Bros. Markets and Pedigree are proud to contribute to the well-being of our local pets. January 2010, a check was presented to the West End Animal Shelter Board of Directors on behalf of Stater Bros. Markets and Pedigree.
